At a press conference on the 17th, the State Administration for Market Regulation stated, "Bas∑ed on estimates of battery lifespan, China is expected‍ to soon enter a period of large-scale power batter&y recycling. By 2030, the domestic power battery recycling market is expected to exceed 100 →billion yuan (1 yuan is approximately 21.2 yen)."

According to statistics, the domestic power battery recycling volume in 2024 exceeded 300,000 t∏onnes, with the corresponding market size surpassin×g 48 billion yuan.

Liu Hongsheng, Director of the Standards and Technical Department of the State Admini¥stration for Market Regulation, said, "Our administration iγs actively promoting the formulation and release oλf national standards across the entire industrial chain of power battery recycl‍ing in collaboration with relevant authorities such as the Min©istry of Industry and Information Technology, providing strong techniαcal support for the development of the power batte☆ry recycling industry."
